I really really need to work on being more current with this blog. I am sorry.
I started a new diet on Saturday. I am doing Slim4Life. My goal is to lose 30 lbs. My focus is all of my jeans that I have sitting in my closet that are too small for me. Soon, maybe some of those will even be too big for me. I cannot wait for that day!
Secondly, my husband & I have too many projects up in the air right now. Our main focus is finishing our guest bathroom. He tore out the walls, vaulted the ceiling, installed the vanity, tiled the floor and tub surround, and this weekend I helped him grout. This week, we are going to seal the tile and repaint some places we scratched on the walls. Then, we hired a guy to re-finish our tub with a non-slick surface on the bottom, so he will do that, and all that will be left will be trim and toilet. It is SO exciting, but a lot more work than we ever realized. I cannot wait to have guests come and enjoy our accomplishments! Grandpa- that is you!
Our next project is trim painting in the house. It will all go from weird pickled oak to white. It will freshen the house up SO much! After that, its to the master bath we go! And then the den, and then the kitchen.... Oh dear!!!
My passions run deep, and I have learned throughout the years that my friends actually appreciate my thoughts and finds. I have helped multiple friends shop for deals, actually just shopped for the guys and brought them new clothes, and helped friends and family decorate. So why not blog my ideas and finds?!?! Maybe I can help someone I don’t even know! Maybe I can inspire someone! And maybe someone will have some awesome ideas my little brain can’t even think of!

Sorry it has been forever!
I had a busy December, and unfortunately didn't keep up on this. I am sorry. My December was good. I started a new job with www.Morgansdeals.com. Check out the deals!
I also went on my honeymoon with husband to Costa Rica. It was beautiful, and I really suggest going. We want to go back another time, and stay at one place for a few days, and then go from place to place every couple days.
If you go, I suggest doing the zipline, and kayaking in the mangroves. Also, don't stay one place too long.
We brought the New Year in the right way...with a hangover. And then I made Black Eyed Peas with Ham, Couscous, and Collard Greens (all for luck in the New Year).
I look forward to January, I have so many goals and resolutions to aim for in 2011. I want to really get into my job, and do well at it. I want to really grow my sales career, and reap the rewards of hard work. I am going to church at least once a month, which isn't very often, but it is a step up from where I was. I am going to work really hard at learning how to eat healthy, and hopefully, I will lose weight, and get to where I want to. I would LOVE to be able to run a 5k easily.
So, I will try to keep you all up to date on my new goals, as well as my previous goals of cooking and little obsessions.
Happy 2011!!! I hope it is great for you!
